Drinking Taurasi for me is always like having a conversation with a somewhat gruff friend who is monosyllabic at first, but who over time becomes involved in well-constructed and exhaustive arguments.
Dense ruby ​​colour. Complexity on the nose with hints of rose and morello cherry, citrus, pronounced and prolonged menthol/balsamic, incense and cocoa.
Still young wine even if not interlocutory as sometimes happens with the young Aglianico. Robust tannin, but the wine has beautiful consistency and freshness, lively fruit and full flavour, appreciable definition and a good dynamic finish where the fruit and spices are evoked in coherence.

In my opinion he is moving towards full expressiveness which he will perhaps reach after the couple of extra years that I would have liked to wait. But even more without problems.
